Hey everyone! Next weekend is Valentine’s Day so you still have some time to get a few projects and crafts done! I’m still working on getting a few decorations around my house for each of the holidays but I especially love Valentine’s Day. I have some really great projects here for you today from some of my blogging besties and I can’t wait to give a couple a try! Read More
I have a super simple and quick Valentines craft for you today! I originally shared this over at Lemon Thistle a couple weeks ago while Colleen is enjoying time with her new babe. It’s so simple and easy that you can get it done just in time for the Holiday next weekend. I don’t do a ton of Valentine decor in my house but I want to make more every year to add to my collection. What’s great about this one is you can keep up year round!
Right now steel letters are all the rage! Especially the ones that light up…unfortunately I’m not sharing that with you today as I want this to be quick and easy. You can defintely add lights to these and make a similar sign like Amy from Homey Oh My did. I’m going to share how you can create those steel letters for a fraction of the price. Alright…are you ready for this “long” tutorial?Read More

The big football celebration is just around the corner and I wanted to change things up a bit and do an all girls party! I love celebrating the game with men but why not do it differently this year and make it a pretty party! What is more girly than the color pink?! My girls football themed party is all pink and girly and perfect in my opinion!
I’m lucky enough to be working with MARS and Wrigley again on this collaboration and I love how I’ve had to create multiple styles of decor for the holidays and celebrations.
I apologize that I have been MIA the past two weeks but I felt it was important to set the blog aside and spend all my time with family. And you know what….it felt good! Blogging is a constant job, with minimal breaks so it was nice to step away for two weeks and enjoy the holidays! With that being said a new year is upon us and I’m SO excited for what is to come with Refashionably Late. I have been blogging for a year now and I have loved every minute of it. I loved learning the business side of it, I loved meeting new friends and I loved sharing my home with you all! Thank you for making my first year of blogging a success!
In 2015 I was lucky to have been featured on House Beautiful, Apartment Therapy, Huffington Post, among others. I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing sponsors and I’ve been lucky to have such amazing followers, like you! Without you all, this blog would not be where it is today! Now I have a ways to go but I’m super happy with the success I’ve had in my first year of blogging.
I wanted to share with you all my top 10 posts of 2015! I hope you’ve seen most of these and if not please catch up! Happy 2016!

I’m back with another great stenciled pillow project for you from Paint a Pillow, a sister company to Cutting Edge Stencils. Can I say how amazing these pillow kits are? They come all set up and ready to paint. There is cardboard inserted into the pillow to give a hard surface for painting. It is placed inside a kit which holds the stencil in place while painting. It’s so easy and then the actual part of stenciling doesn’t take that long.
Stenciling your pillow is fairly easy and it comes with instructions on how to do it properly with your pillow kit. You can also find detailed instructions on their website. I would advise, as they share in their directions, to start with the lighter colors first. With my previous pillow I did for Halloween, I didn’t use a paint brush and I just used a roller so I didn’t need to worry about switching colors. They do work a little differently.Read More
