Hey everyone! It’s time for another round of the One Room Challenge. This round I decided to make over my living room. It has been a room I’ve slowly worked on but haven’t done anything major to! It’s the first room you see when you walk into my home so I’m hoping I can give it a little bit of that wow factor! If you are new to the One Room Challenge then let me explain to you what it is. It’s a 6 week room transformation challenge. Throughout the 6 weeks I’ll update you on how the room is coming along. Tons of different people/bloggers participate and create truly amazing spaces! Here are the makeovers I have done in the past:
Yesterday I shared with you my playroom makeover. Today I wanted to give you a more detailed instruction on how I redid the art table in my daughters’ playroom. This table was mine when I was a little girl and I spent hours making things and sitting at it. It warms my heart to know that my little girls are going to get a lot of use and have lots of memories with this little table as well. Although the table was adorable as is I wanted to give it a little makeover. Here is how the table looked before it’s first makeover:Read More
My daughters’ playroom has seen a few transformations over the past few years. When we moved into our home our basement was rarely used. We did not have enough furniture to fill our house so the playroom was originally in our dining room. For the first year we mostly lived on the top level of our home. Once our furniture collection started to grow and we actually got a dining room table we decided to move the playroom to our downstairs area.Read More
This post has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be happier with the results! We have ugly brown fake hollow core doors throughout our house. I wanted to get all new doors but then realized what a pain it is to replace doors. I already tormented my husband with projects while I was pregnant so I’ve been trying to take more things on myself lately. I knew I couldn’t do the doors myself, so I decided to give them a little makeover instead.Read More
Fall is right around the corner and I’m looking forward to spicing up my decor with some fall touches! Surprisingly, August in Minnesota this year is already feeling like Fall. Typically it’s warm and humid but this year it has been cool! I’m not complaining by any means as Fall weather is my favorite! It is strange though and I’m looking forward to a little warmer weather before the end of Summer!
In the coming days of Fall I wanted to put together some great decor options for your indoor and outdoor spaces with Wayfair. Wayfair has become one of my go to places now to shop. You can find anything and everything and it’s all at a really great price. Currently I have my eyes on a few couches! I can’t wait to finally get one for our living room.Read More
