I’m all about tablescapes and hopefully I’m going to be able to make one this year but it may be hard as we have a new baby at home. If anything I can enjoy this eye candy! We’ve decided to do my family’s Christmas this year in January so I’m planning to get something together at that time. Here’s some inspiration for myself and for all of you for this Christmas season! With a new baby on the way and going from one child to two, I find it very important to be prepared for the upcoming Holidays. I love to decorate for all Holidays but I especially love to decorate for Christmas. I probably have about 3 times the number of bins for Christmas decorations as opposed to all other Holidays. Christmas brings so much joy to me and I can’t wait to celebrate it this year with our new family of four.
With having a newborn that is to arrive this week we are having everyone come to our house for the Holidays. First everyone will be here at Thanksgiving and then again in January for a belated Christmas celebration. I don’t think it’s ever too early to decorate for Christmas so I was really excited to get a head start before baby arrives.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner and having a baby arrival even closer, I wanted to decorate my table for Thanksgiving early. We are going to have a baby this week and so we are not sure when we will get home from the hospital next week to prepare for the holiday. Since we will have a newborn all of my family will be traveling to our house for Thanksgiving. I love to create tablescapes so I knew I would be sad if I missed out on decorating our Thanksgiving table.Read More

In about a week, give or take a few days, I’m hoping to be sitting in our nursery with a brand new baby in my arms! It has been a long road getting to where we are and I couldn’t be more thankful this year for bringing new life into this world. I can’t wait to bring our daughter home to big sister, Lucy, and my husband. What a blessing the gift of life is! We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday!
The past 6 weeks I have been participating in the One Room Challenge and I took on the challenge of giving our 3rd bedroom upstairs a makeover. This is the only room in the house we haven’t painted and we weren’t planning to until we got pregnant. We didn’t see the point in painting the walls when we knew we would in the not too distant future.Read More
This is a post that I have been looking forward to writing for quite some time! Not only is it an accomplishment to finish making over a room but it also means that we are getting closer to our little’s arrival. I’m looking to get induced next Thursday or Friday so hopefully by next weekend we will have our precious little girl in our arms! I am so proud of this room and I can’t wait to share it with you! This might be my new favorite room in our house, that’s a good thing as I’m sure I’ll be spending lots of time in here!
