So this isn’t the first time this has been done and it has been seen around Pinterest. I originally saw this post by Arte & Manha’s blog post. I wanted to give it a try and I figured why not blog about it! I wanted to make my own decorative balls to put into a vase. I used all of my corks, which were in one of my vases, to decorate some other balls. Apparently, I’m really into decorating styrofoam balls lately. Haha! Check out my previous post, on Cork Decor. First off, my mom is the reason I am doing this blog. As I grew up I watched my mom refurbish furniture, decorate her home and paint anything and everything! She was the one who taught me the ins and outs of DIY. She’s amazing at what she does and inspires me through every project I do!

I started researching about purchasing plates and of course, as always, I wanted to find a more affordable option. I wanted to decorate some of my own plates as well as purchase a few.
I barricaded myself in my basement this week to paint a million different things while feeling very motivated. I keep coming up with new projects that I just simply have to work on immediately! Does this happen to anyone else besides me? I think having almost our entire house painted and ready to be decorated is my motivation! I just want it to be done and have it be “our” home and have the previous owners “moved out.”Read More
