Well after two flight delays and then a flight cancellation and weekend full of singing I’m back in the comfort of my own home! It’s always hard to get back into the swing of things after a weekend a way. And the stress of a cancelled flight doesn’t help at all! I’m back and I’m safe and that’s all that maters in the end! (Just an FYI, don’t ever fly Spirit Airlines…they have terrible costumer service and they don’t care about their costumers! Needless to say, I will never fly Spirit ever again!)Read More
So I’m on the diet train and giving Weight Watchers a try again. I’ve done it in the past and have had a lot of success so I thought I would try it again to get the rest of my baby weight off. I’ve been doing it a couple weeks now and I’m down 4lbs! So that’s good, right!? Well to keep me motivated I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite go to Weight Watchers meals and a few I’ve wanted to try!Read More
Hey everyone! Since it’s such a patriotic weekend, I decided to share with you a few of my favorite memorial day makeovers. Today is a great day to remember all of those that we have lost and who have fought and stood tall for our country. I love how these projects really show off patriotism and our love for the USA!Read More
Okay everyone I’m so excited to share with you my new obsession! My good friend, Heather, at Gray Sheep Shop sells wool dryer balls. Felted wool dryer balls are a natural, whimsical and sustainable addition to your laundry routine. Wool is a naturally absorbent material that softens laundry and speeds dry time, all without the use of any chemicals. Here are a couple other great things about these amazing dryer balls!
To paint or not to paint? That is the question. 🙂 So I’m really struggling with (as I’m sure you’ve heard me say) whether to paint my kitchen cabinets or not. Before we moved into our home I was going to paint all of the woodwork and cabinets white. No questions. Then family members and my husband have encouraged me to live with it for a while before I make any drastic changes. I also think about how Nicole Curtis never paints wood and keeps it original. And she’s from Minneapolis too! (My home is not nearly as old though as the homes she works on though….)
I don’t feel like white cabinets will go out of style. Case in point…my mom painted her cabinets white 18 years ago and it’s still in style. I just love the look that white cabinets bring to a kitchen, it’s crisp, clean and helps brighten up a room.
