Alright so now that I have a 3 month old daughter I felt it was time to get my mind and body back into shape! I was fortunate enough to have lost 30lbs during my first trimester. I didn’t feel fortunate at the time but now I’m happy I left the hospital weighing less than where I started. Between feeling nauseous all the time and being on a strict diet for gestational diabetes that is what caused the weight loss. Not only do I want to keep that weight off I also want to lose some additional weight. Every girl’s dream is to get back to their wedding weight right?! Well here is how I plan to get on the healthy band wagon:Read More
I hope everyone is having a great start to their year! So far it’s been pretty great on our end! We rang in the new year with our neighbors and have been able to spend a lot of quality time as a family over the Holidays. My husband was able to take 10 days off of work so we’ve had a great time being together as a family of four.
Our newest daughter, Gabriella, was born almost two months ago and we have been adjusting quite well. Surprisingly enough our older daughter, Lucy, has been harder to deal with than a newborn. I can’t imagine how it feels though to a 3 year old to have your world rocked and go from an only child to having another little human around. Lucy is adjusting now, but for a couple weeks we had some trying moments. Lucy is a great big sister though and loves to hold her little sister and does a great job of calming her down when she’s upset. It melts my heart to see her love on her little sister.Read More

I’m one of those that likes to be completely prepared for when baby is to arrive. I’m not huge on surprises and there are already so many unknowns when it comes to having a baby. I try to find out the gender as soon as I possibly can and then I start working on the nursery. I like to feel ready. I’m quite proud of myself as I can officially say the nursery is finished and ready for baby to make it’s arrival. It’s a really good feeling knowing that I am ready if she decides to make her appearance earlier than planned. (Which I’m hoping will happen…trying not to get my hopes up!)
We are at Day 4 and the final day of the Baby Bundle series. Today is all about the mama….I mean it is from the beginning anyway isn’t it?! 🙂 Us Moms work really hard cooking this baby and then work hard to deliver that baby. We deserve some special treatment don’t you think?!

Hey everyone it’s day 2 of my Baby Bundle Series! Yesterday I talked all about my favorite nursing go to items and today I want to share some of my favorite carriers and sleepers. This is a huge part of parenting to have these items as they can be very helpful in daily routines and getting enough sleep!
Here was day 1 of the series:
