Over the weekend my mom and I sat down and looked over the three style boards that I created for ideas for her master bedroom makeover. You can view my previous post here. My mom decided that number 1 was her overall favorite but she liked bits and pieces from each board. For a reminder here are the 3 style boards that I created:Read More
I’m super excited because Sunday evening Refashionably Late was featured on the website Roadkill Rescue. It’s such a fun website that features DIY projects for “rescued” furniture. It says on their blog that “a rescue is considered something that you got for free. This means someone gave it to you, you found it on the curb, it was a hand-me-down, or it was ready to be thrown away.”
My Antique Side Table Makeover was chosen as I had gotten the side table for free from a lady that was moving away and wanted everything gone! I had been wanting to makeover a two tiered table for quite some time and was so excited when I scored this awesome piece of furniture! It needed some TLC so if you want to see the whole process click here to check out the original post!Read More
Hey everyone! Since it’s such a patriotic weekend, I decided to share with you a few of my favorite memorial day makeovers. Today is a great day to remember all of those that we have lost and who have fought and stood tall for our country. I love how these projects really show off patriotism and our love for the USA!Read More
I headed out to a garage sale in St. Paul one day because they were giving away a free swingset. Our house came with a swing set when we bought it but it’s a little old and needed new swings, rings, etc. I thought I’d go snag the swings. Unfortunately, when I got there the swing set was taken but she did have an extra swing that I could have so I was happy with that! She also had a huge garage full of stuff she was giving away for free. I started rumagging through everything and found a few pieces of furniture I thought would look great redone!
I have always wanted to do an antique side table makeover and this lady happened to have one! I snagged it and took it back to my car. I thought it would be perfect between our recliner and couch downstairs.Read More
Happy Monday everyone! I’ve decided to start the big project of redoing my dining room furniture. Right now it’s just a bunch of mismatched furniture that has been brought together from different places. I’m positive it will look great together once I’m finished working with them!
