I barricaded myself in my basement this week to paint a million different things while feeling very motivated. I keep coming up with new projects that I just simply have to work on immediately! I’m not in love with my kitchen cabinets but I am living with it for a while and not painting them white because I know how large of a task it is. Plus once you paint them it’s really hard to go back to the original wood. With that being said I have wanted to make a lot of minor changes in my kitchen to update it. Something small that I did and has made a huge difference is changing out the knobs on all the cabinets and drawers.
When my husband and I bought our house our kitchen was fairly updated. It had granite counter tops, new laminate flooring, and a tile backsplash. It wasn’t that bad of a kitchen but I knew that I wanted to do little things to update it a bit.
After a lot of convincing my husband and lots of research, I decided to start by painting the tile. We couldn’t afford a whole new backsplash so we figured we could make a small change and if we hated it we could eventually replace the backsplash.
