15 DIY Kid's Toys - www.refashionablylate.comI can’t believe my baby girl turns 2 next Thursday.  It’s going to be so much fun!  I am planning a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party and she’s going to be so excited when she sees all the Minnie decor.

I swear this girl can spot a Minnie Mouse from a mile away!  We will be at the store and she will see a Minnie Mouse cup practically 2 aisles away and it takes me a while to see what she is seeing.

She is such a blessing and I can’t wait to celebrate my little girl next weekend.

I love throwing birthday parties and it’s even more fun planning them for your own children.  I love gift giving as well but I also love to create my own gifts when possible.

Sometimes time does not allow but if I have time I love to make something special.  I was roaming around Pinterest and found some really great DIY children’s toys that would be great gifts for my daughter or any child.  What’s better than a gift that is made with love?!

Hi, Ruthie ~ A Minnie Party…How fun! My girls were obsessed with Minnie for awhile, too. :0) All of these DIY toys are SO cute! I especially love The Market! I was obsessed with Bouncy Balls when I was kid. I wish this tutorial had been around then…it would have saved me a lot of quarters! Thanks for sharing!

These are all so cute! Kids do not care how much something cost or if it is even new. Especially little ones just want something fun and colorful. These are great ideas for little ones.

Thanks Emily! I agree! Sometimes I think my daughter would be completely content with a box 🙂

mother holding baby in the air and going for a kiss

My name is Ruthie, I was born and raised in the Midwest.  I met the man of my dreams in Nashville, TN and decided to follow him back home to California.  First came love, then came marriage, then came the baby in the baby carriage.  My husband got a new job when my daughter was 2 months old and we packed up and moved halfway across the country to Minnesota, back to my homeland. We now have two beautiful little girls.
