January Monthly Check-In - www.refashionablylate.com

Well, I haven’t been so great at keeping up with these monthly check-ins.  That is going to change in 2018!  Lot is going to change with Refashionably Late in 2018!  I’m working very hard to be consistent with my posts and social sharing!  It’s my New Years Resolution!  I am making more time for me!  Working on the blog makes me happy so I’m going to try and work on it more.  I love sharing projects and stories with everyone and I can’t wait to continue through 2018!

Family

There has been so much that has happened since October when I posted last.  In November Gabi turned 1!  I can’t believe our little rainbow baby is 1 and walking and getting such a large personality!January Monthly Check-In - www.refashionablylate.com

We celebrated Gabi’s birthday while we were on a trip to Mexico!  We went with my side of the family and had the best time ever!  Lucy and Gabi adore their cousins and they had so much fun swimming and playing together!January Monthly Check-In - www.refashionablylate.com

After Mexico, we headed straight to California to celebrate Thanksgiving with my husband’s side of the family.  We enjoyed our second week of beautiful weather and the girls got to spend some quality time with their Nonna and Nonno.

December has been filled with Christmas festivities and spending time with friends and family.  The girls went to visit Santa and neither of them was too excited about it! 🙂January Monthly Check-In - www.refashionablylate.com

Weight Watchers/Diet

Unfortunately, this has not been going well for me.  I lost about 15 lbs before I went to Mexico but I’m afraid to weigh in now after the Holidays.  I hope to get back on the train here soon but searching for some motivation?  What do you do that helps you get motivated?

Post Round-Up

Another thing that kept me busy during the month of November was the One Room Challenge.  This round I decided to make over our living room!  It was a huge task and a lot of hard work but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!  Swipe left and right to see the before and after!

I also collaborated with Cost Plus World Market on a few campaigns: Holiday Entertaining, The Performance and National Llama Day.

As usual, I’m obsessed with my Cricut Explore Air 2 so I made a guitar strap and created a Christmas tablescape!

I shared a little parenting advice with mamas out there expecting baby number 2 and for traveling with children!

I also shared how I made my Christmas cards at minted.com!

A Look Into January

This month I’m going to be bringing back my Friday Favorites!  I love sharing different ideas and inspirations with you all and you have loved it in the past!  Why not start fresh with it 2018?!

Through the month of January, my friend Tara from Just Call Me Homegirl and I will be doing weekly Facebook Live videos.  We want to share with you how we organize our home and get ourselves prepared for 2018!  Follow us on Facebook to get organized with us!  I will be sharing on Wednesdays and Tara will be sharing on Sundays!

My name is Ruthie, I was born and raised in the Midwest.  I met the man of my dreams in Nashville, TN and decided to follow him back home to California.  First came love, then came marriage, then came the baby in the baby carriage.  My husband got a new job when my daughter was 2 months old and we packed up and moved halfway across the country to Minnesota, back to my homeland. We now have two beautiful little girls.
